So it’s mid 2009 and people have already been blogging for well over a decade at this point. Yeah, we’re a little late to the party… Fortunately, there’s still a little punch left in the bowl, and we’ve got fresh legs for the dance floor.
This is officially our first blog. It wouldn’t be polite for us to jump right in and get all business like without a proper introduction, so here it is:
We’re adVision Marketing, Inc., a web strategy and internet advertising company. We cater to the online needs of small and medium sized businesses, and we absolutely love what we do. adVision has been in business since April of 2005, which means the company is technically an Aries. That’s right, we are pioneering and adventurous, we enjoy picnics on the beach, The Karate Kid Movie, and share a Zodiac sign with Alec Baldwin (Go ahead, look it up…).
Got that out of the way? Good…
On a slightly more serious note, the author of this blog will be me, Matt Walde, the founder of adVision Marketing. I am 30 years old and have been in high tech sales and advertising since 2002. I began managing online campaigns for a Fortune 500 company back in 2004, and yadda, yadda, yadda, here we are…
The purpose of this blog is to share my knowledge of executing a successful web strategy in a way that’s easy for all to understand, immediately valuable, and hopefully somewhat entertaining. At least as entertaining as a discussion about website and internet strategy can be…
Topics will cover everything from website conversion tactics, to online advertising tips and tricks, and analytic interpretation, just to name a few. Expect me to throw a few odd ball posts in to keep things light, but my hope is that this blog will become a great resource for anyone interested in learning more about effective web strategies and online advertising techniques to help improve the ROI of their website.
I encourage my readers to ask questions and leave comments on this blog. Please feel free to subscribe to future posts by clicking the RSS feed or email buttons on our site.
Thanks for stopping by!
-Matt
